6-Day Kilimanjaro Trek - Marangu Route

Finish park and team formalities before travelling through Kilimanjaro's lower forest zone. The first hut night introduces the accommodation style used along the Marangu corridor.

The landscape becomes more open as the group continues under professional guidance to the next hut complex. Rest and enjoy the views after check-in.

An additional day in the Horombo area is built into the programme to allow the guides to manage pace and altitude considerations. Activities are determined by the professional team rather than a fixed excursion promise.

Follow the operator-managed plan toward the upper mountain hut location. Rest, weather monitoring and team briefings take priority after arrival.

The expedition's highest-altitude day occurs only if conditions and professional assessments support it. The planned night is back at the Horombo hut complex.

Exit the national park with the operator team and arrange the onward transfer to Moshi or Arusha. An additional hotel booking is optional.
