Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport. Meet your Dastel representative, transfer to your hotel and review the route, park logistics and personal interests with your guide.

Spend the main part of the day exploring Tarangire and its elephant habitats, then continue toward Karatu. An afternoon arrival leaves time to unwind before the highland portion of the safari.
