5-Day Private Tanzania Experience Safari

Arrive through Kilimanjaro International Airport or an agreed pick-up point. A Dastel representative welcomes guests and arranges their transfer to Arusha. After check-in, review the journey, park schedule and practical questions with the safari team. Rest before the wildlife adventure begins.

Drive from Arusha to Tarangire for the first full safari day. The park is particularly memorable for its baobab-lined scenery and groups of elephants near the Tarangire River. Enjoy picnic lunch and a game drive before leaving for the nearby highlands.

Travel through the Ngorongoro highlands toward the Serengeti, with scenic viewing stops where permitted. Enter the national park and follow wildlife activity across the open grasslands. Spend the afternoon watching the shifting light and looking for lions, grazers and other savannah species.

Start with an early morning game drive in Serengeti before travelling back toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Time permitting, take permitted scenic viewpoints along the route. The evening is spent in the cooler highland setting, ready for a crater visit the next day.

After an early breakfast, descend to the Ngorongoro Crater floor for a guided wildlife drive, following conservation area regulations. Look for buffalo, zebra, wildebeest and the possibility of other iconic species before the return journey to Arusha. Drop-off depends on departure arrangements.
